What is a Detoxifying Footbath?
Ionic detox foot spas are hydro-galvanic devices designed to aid the body’s natural detoxification process. Taking an ionic footbath is a simple and effective way to stimulate natural body cleanse and draw out toxins and heavy metals through the skin pores. A detox foot bath session begins by placing your feet in a tub filled with sealty warm water. Then a coil is placed into the foot tub to produce a mild electrical current by means of water ionization. The electrical field that builds around the body helps the release of toxins and other impurities in a form of concentrated sweat. Detox foot baths encourage profound ion detox cleanse due to the combined effect of warm water, ionization and by the strategic use of the feet where sweat glands are concentrated.
Benefits of ionic foot detox
Your body has the ability to get rid of toxins that get accumulated from polluted air, water and junk food through exhalation, perspiration and excretion in the lungs, kidneys and the liver. The problem comes when the rate of toxin intake exceeds the body’s natural ability to get rid of them. You start to feel drained and exhausted without any apparent reason. This is the body’s message that something is wrong and needs your attention. Detox foot baths provide a safe, and effective way of quickly releasing large amounts of toxins from the body, without fasting or taking medications and will quickly renew your vitality and ability to cope with daily stress.
Benefits of using ionic foot detox machines include:
Liver detoxification
Reduced inflammation
Improved memory and sleep
Relief for joint pain and headache
Improved immune system and immune functions
Reduced water retention
Allergy and asthma relief
Increased peripheral blood circulation
What can you expect during a foot detox bath?
There is no any known dangers of detox foot baths. They are easy to take and incredibly relaxing. You just sit in an easy chair with your feet placed in warm salt water beside the unit with the foot coil. A typical detox footbath session lasts for 20-30 minutes. After the session is complete, you can go back to work, or just enjoy the relaxed feeling that typically follows the process. But don’t forget to drink plenty of water and take some mineral supplements because ionic foot baths pull out a great amount of minerals from the body that were previously associated with heavy metals and toxins.
What happens during an Ion Foot Bath Session?
The Ion Foot Bath is a soothing and relaxing 30 minute session. You'll feel super pampered as your feet soak in a warm foot bath. Below is a table of what the color of the finished soaking water may represent:
